A surprise for me, a surprise for you.This evening after I returned from a wonderful 24 hour retreat with the ladies from my church (I'll post about that in a bit), Shannon told me that he wanted me to go pick out a present. He wanted to buy me a present to celebrate a milestone I'm about to reach in my weight loss. He was afraid he was going to be out of town on the day met that milestone, and he didn't want me to wait for my present. Plus, he wanted me to pick out something I would really want. He told me he wanted to take me to my favorite store in the mall, the Coach store, and get me a purse, since he didn't get the chance to get me my bracelet. You see, I had a plan to purchase a Pandora bracelet and get a new charm to mark the 10 pound milestones along my journey. It turns out I now have TWO of those amazing bracelets. My friends Laurie and Lauri both gave me bracelets last week to help me celebrate my successes. I wear them both, proudly.
So this evening Shannon took Landon and I to the mall and we purchased a new Coach purse. I don't get to "open" it until I reach my big milestone. I should reach it in the next two weeks. Until then the bag sits on my desk, waiting...
