I have a co-worker (my Assistant Principal actually) who had a baby this mornig. After over 17 hours of labor Kennedy Claire was born at 1:14 AM this morning. Kennedy's mom asked me to make a photographic birth documentary, so I was there with her all the way to the end (and then some). It was an absolutely amazing experience. I'm going on absolutely NO sleep for the past 48 hours, so I'm about to hit the sack for the evening, but I wanted to replace that nasty picture of my laundry with something MUCH more pleasing to the eyes! I took these pictures of Kennedy this afternoon after school. Isn't she beautiful? She is the prettiest 14 hour old baby I think I've ever seen (except for Landon of course).
By the way - mommy and baby were doing fine this afternoon, both of them were just catching up on some MUCH needed rest.
