Several weeks ago I was tagged and asked to list 6 quirky things about me. One of the things I listed was that I HATE LAUNDRY. Well, I got REALLY far behind in doing laundry. So for the last two weeks I've been trying to get it all washed. Washing is not the part I hate; it is the folding and putting away. So, here is my confession...Yes, folks this is more than 10, probably more than 15 loads of laundry piled high in the floor of my living room. Last week I started washing clothes and piling them on the guest room bed. This weekend while I was walking 60 miles my husband continued to wash loads of laundry (thanks baby!) and putting them on the guest bed. This evening I put in the LAST LOAD OF LAUNDRY!!! The only dirty clothes in our house right now are the pajamas that Landon and I are wearing. Yes, I made both of us put on our PJs early so I could wash our clothes!!! The final load is in the dryer as we speak, and as soon as Landon goes down to bed, I'm going to put in a chick-flick and see how much I can get folded this evening. I'll keep you posted!!!!!!
Please pray for Laundry Intervention in this home!!

OMG Shelley!!! I've never seen the likes. BTW, loved your post on the walk.
That is great! I can honestly say that I have never seen a pile of laundry quite that large. Especially not CLEAN laundry. I hope that you were able to fold and put away a portion of your "mountain" tonight, and I wish you luck with the rest of it. I will pray for laundry intervention for your household. Hang in there!
That was hilarious . . . totally just made my day! I'm interested to see what chick flick you picked . . .

I am so glad there is someone else out there like me who hates to fold as much as I do!!!
I too have sat in front of the TV with a HUGE pile of clothes to fold way too many times to count. My husband doesn't understand why I don't just fold when it comes out of the dryer, but it is just the whole thought of folding, then putting them up where they go. Those are 2 tasks I just don't want to do. With 5 people in our family, it doesn't take long to get a big pile of laundry to fold. Usually I am waiting until the weekend to do our "weekly" laundry and I will have done 15-20 loads of laundry in 2 days. So usually by Thursday they all be folded..lol. I have recently made a rule in my household that has worked pretty good so far. With 5 people, that is a lot of clothes in a day (pajamas, clothes for the day, and a towel for baths) so I came up with a plan to lesson my "weekly" loads. The girls have to choose 1 towel on Sunday that they will use all week long for showers--they are clean aftet their shower right?? They are also to wear their pajamas 2 nights in a row. I know this sounds silly--but we are going on our 3rd week now and I have had way less laundry to do. Haha, it is just the little things that can make us happy.
I can't really give you any words of encouragement on your disorder (LOL) but just know it never gets better!!
I so can relate to that! I had to send this to my family to see because that is often how the inside of my closet looks! However mine are usually dirty! lol!
