I can say that on Shannon's list of "100 Things I Like To Do" getting on the roof to put up Christmas lights is not one of them. Every year Shannon tries real hard to convince me that we really don't need lights on the roof of the house!! Almost every year I have convinced him otherwise. Today my hero climbed on the roof of our house and put up my Christmas Lights!! The same red lights that have been on my house for over 20 years!!

The "boss" checks in on his workers to make sure everything looks ok. Landon kept checking on Shannon while he was on the roof. "Daddy, you ok up there?" "Daddy, can you hear me?"

I helped too!!

This evening when we took Landon outside to check out the lights, he was so excited. He kept telling Shannon, "I like my lights, Daddy!" Then while Shannon was doing a bit of work on the lights by the sidewalk, Landon kept running up and down the sidewalk like it was a runway!
We started the morning off in the attic getting down all the Christmas decorations. Since we had both cars backed out of the garage we decided to ride on Landon's Wiggle Racer that he got for his birthday last year. The garage is a great place to wiggle!!

OK - so seeing your lights and hearing about Landon's excitement puts me more in the spirit. I've been dragging my feet about pulling out our Christmas decor. We leave for KY on Dec 21 for 2 weeks, then *hopefully* the adoption soon after that...I guess I'm being lazy and don't want to deal with the hassle.
Tell Shannon that "he's the MAN!" for climbing on that roof.
Your lights look fantastic!
