Landon's New Bed

As you know we've been working on "upgrading" Landon's room. Well, we are getting closer. Today his mattress was delivered!! We still don't have the hardware to attach the header and footer (Which used to be the front and back of his crib!). So in these pictures they are just leaning against the wall and bed. And please disregard all the dust on the foot board. I didn't even notice it until I started looking at these pictures. It's been in storage under our bed for the past two years!! I can't image how much dust is under my bed after seeing that. I need to clean!!

Anyways, as you can see the first thing Landon wanted to do was jump on his new bed!!!

Earlier today when Shannon and I were getting everything put together I made the comment that this will most likely be the bed that Landon has as long as he lives in this house. We will change the bedding I'm sure, but I'm pretty sure a full sized bed should last him through High School. While talking to a friend this evening she mentioned that this will probably be the bed that Landon and his WIFE sleep in one day when they come home to visit for the holidays!! That made the hair on the back of my neck stand up (and again just now as I typed those words!)!!!! And she's probably right!!! And he's only three!!!!
