Stacie's World Adventure

I have a co-worker/friend who loves to travel. She is a beautiful young lady who loves the Lord and loves missions. (She's also a great photographer!). Anyways, she has been planning this trip to England for a few months now to go work with Young Life for several weeks. Anyways, please pray for her as the first 48 hours of her ministry trip has been, well, let's just say, it's been an adventure. I could NEVER tell the story quite as well as her so this is from her blog, Wanderlust: Rundown of the Last 48 Hours

Also, her friend did a Vlog interview with Stacie last night, and you have to hear it in her own words - and I just have to say that this Leslie girl is a riot!! I MUST find out how to meet this crazy girl!! I already love her!!!!

Enjoy!

I leave on Sunday for my "big adventure out east" and am trying to get my ducks in a row so I can leave my flock behind for a whole month. I've got 3 days of work left, and they will be quite busy. I've still got about 25 things on my work to do list (I got REAL far behind the last week of school) and to add to that they are coming to remove ALL the computers at one of my campuses tomorrow so I'll have a desk with no computer - makes it hard to be a TECHONLOGY facilitator!! I'll have to spend most of my time at my other campus where EVERY SINGLE PERSON is gone. I was there this afternoon with just the secretary and she leaves tomorrow!! I might actually get an amazing amount of work done with no teachers or kids to distract me. You know, my job would be a piece of cake if it weren't for the teachers and students asking me questions all the time. But then again, if it weren't for the teachers and students asking me questions all the time, I wouldn't have a job!
