Sunday and Monday

Sunday morning – two more photo shoots. Sunday afternoon, start editing the 1300 photos I’ve taken the last two mornings. Plus, I have three big jobs I’m pretty far behind on. (I haven’t forgotten about you ladies!!). Sunday evening was our weekend to host our Life Group from our church. We picked up the house and I ran to the store to get some munchies. All while watching that “wonderful” Cowboy’s game. NOT!! Get it together guys!! Life Group was great, and after everyone left I started cleaning the kitchen. I wasn’t feeling great at this point, but figured it was something I ate. After the kitchen was cleaned (or clean enough) I headed to my desk to edit these pictures. I was feeling worse and worse. At about midnight I headed to bed, feeling pretty bad. At 2:oo it hit me. I was up and down all night. Shannon was a trooper!!

By 6:00 the next morning I was feeling much better. I decided to go work that day anyways thinking I was on the upside of it all. It was Parent/Teacher Conference day and I had an all day meeting with my team. I figured I could sit at a computer all day and work and be fine. I had to take my car to the shop this morning; there was something wrong with the brakes. I had a friend/co-worker pick Landon and I up at the car repair place and take us to school and work. I’m not feeling well at all by lunch time, but hanging in there. At lunch I get a call from the car place – my brakes and rotors have to be completely replaced as well as the motor for the rear air conditioner. It is going to cost $1007. Nice! After work I head home to rest. When I get home Shannon is at home. He is not feeling well. So, the two of us are down for the afternoon. Landon gets to watch a lot of TV that afternoon – he thought that was pretty cool! By about 11:00 that evening I was feeling a little better. Heading to bed. Shannon is packing his bag because he is going to El Salvador at 3:30 in the morning. He has to take a shuttle because my car is still at the shop and he has to leave his car at home so Landon and I can get around. It was another long night!
