We enjoy spending an evening at the minor league baseball game. We have part of a season set of tickets (we share with some friends). Landon had a nice big hot dog and later in the evening some cotton candy. Landon does not like Deuce the prairie dog when he gets too close. He will talk about him for days, even weeks after a game, but doesn't want him to get close. This year the team has added a new mascot, Daisy, a female prairie dog. During the game she came up in the row in front of us and was messing with a guy on the front row. After a few minutes she turned around and grabbed Shannon's hat. Landon about had a heart attack - he was clamoring up my side, practically sitting on my shoulders he was so frightened. Daisy took the hint and moved on, but Landon didn't take his eyes off her for quite some time. For about a week Landon talked about Daisy taking Daddy's hat.
Here are some pictures I took that evening. It was the first shots with my new point and shoot camera. A few are out of focus, because I didn't look at the display before taking the pictures, and didn't see what it was focusing on. Anyways -
