Tonight we went to out first Rough Rider's Game of this season. Fifteen home games into the season and it's our first one - man we are slipping. Well, we only went in for a portion of a season this year in our season ticket pool. Last year we had so many tickets left over at the end of the season, we thought we would do less this year. Of course this year Landon is way more interested in the actual game. He was yelling at the players - telling them, "Go, go, go, go..." and so forth. He would clap when the crowd cheered. It was so much fun. He is still a little unsure of Duce (the mascot - a huge orange ground hog) when he gets too close. I decided to just enjoy the company of my family and watch the game tonight and I didn't take my camera. I was going to be upset if Landon made it on the Jumbo Tron screen, and I didn't have it, but it was worth it. After the game tonight they let any child 12 and under run the bases. I was disappointed that I didn't have my camera, but it turned out OK, because Landon wouldn't go down the stairs by himself (a must do before they let you on the field - had to do it w/o a parent) so he didn't run. Kinda sad, but then not, because I would have kicked myself for not being prepared with my camera. I really do need to get a small point-and-shoot camera to keep in my purse. I'm trying really hard to just live life and not worry about getting pictures of IT ALL!! Hard to do for someone who loves photography as much as me, and for someone who loves taking pictures their baby boy as much as I do! Still no excuse for not updating Landon's webpage in over a month. I have pictures, just haven't done it. I've had so much business with my photography that any spare moment I'm editing pictures for clients. I'm trying really hard not to get behind.
BTW - the Rough Riders lost this evening. :(
P.S. Shannon and I got a Wii. We have to get pictures of us playing that thing. I hate having my picture taken, especially doing something active - but it is so funny to watch us play this game in our living room. After I get Landon down this evening, and run to the grocery store, I might convince Shannon to play me in tennis. I'll have to use the self -timer to take a picture. We will see. Stay tuned....
