Update

The procedure went well on Tuesday. The hospital was great! When we arrived they handed Shannon a pager. That way if they needed him for any reason, they would page him - he would check in at the information desk and get any info he needed.
The pre-op nurse was so nice. When I was a little uneasy about my I.V. (I've had a really bad experience in the past) she was great and gave me warm blankets to stop the cramping. I think it was like putting a band-aid on a "boo-boo" for a two year old (was there ever really a boo boo?) The wheeled me into the operating room. I remember going down the hall and turning the corner. I know they said I had to "scoot" from one bed to the table, but I honestly don't remember a thing.
Shannon came back in to the room where we started, and he said it had been about an hour and a half. The surgery itself only took about 30 minutes and then it took me 1 hour to wake up. That was some goooooood sleep.
I spend the rest of the day at home sleeping and laying in the bed.
The doctor took some pictures while he was in there - pretty cool! I saw the polyps he removed - freaky. He said everything went well, no surprises - which is good at a time like this. He will send the polyps in for a biopsy and I should know something at my appointment in two weeks.

Thanks for your prayers - they were obviously heard!
