As Promised

Here is the recepie for the Black Bean Salsa I mentioned yesterday.

1 16 oz can Black Beans (my cans are 15 oz it works.)
1 12 oz jar salsa - I use Pace, but any will do, I suggest a chunky type salsa, not a blended resturant style.
1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro. (You can use dried too, just not as much - about a tablespoon maybe)
1/4 teaspoon cumin
Juice from one lime (I like a bit more - about 1 1/2 limes)

Semi mash the beans a bit. Not to mush, but just so the beans are "broken." Add all the rest, mix well, chill. (We usually eat it before we have time to chill it, but it really does make it taste better after its been in the fridge.) Great with chips, but also good on scrambled eggs, baked potatoes, and with veggies.

Hutch thought you had a picture of a potted plant on your blog. He is wondering which to eat first the greens or the dirt. This all just means that nothing that I put in front of my family to eat is for eye appeal! I do enjoy your recipes and food pictures.
