Lucy, my dog, got a new hair doo today. She is a Shih-Tzu who has had the top knot hair-doo for the past 5+ years. Unfortunately we haven't given her hair the attention it truly needs for that type of style and she ends up with matts of hair that have to be brushed out. That is not a fun task. So, today I took the big step and when her groomer came by I asked her to cut it off. I had cut several pictures from magazines to show her what I wanted and didn't want.
When the groomer brought Lucy back in the house I was a bit sad. Although she did do the best she could I was just so sad to see Lucy with out her top knot. Here is a picture I took this evening. I already had to change the bow because Lucy had already messed the other one up. Anyways, this is the new Lucy. I'm hoping she will be happier without the hair falling in her face. It just seems like the end of an era.
