Yes, day number 4!! That is practically unheard of in Texas. If and when we get snow it will usually snow over night and the next morning we will get a good morning of fun out of the snow. But by lunch time the snow is all but gone due to the sun. Not this time. We started the week off with a lot of ice. Monday night was a thunderstorm of sleet. I've never in all my life heard thunder and lightning and sleet at the same time. We got A LOT of sleet. There was about 3 inches of build up on our patio. The temperatures have been in the teens and single digits for days. They have not risen above freezing in 4 days. Today it was 21* and if felt nice out!! A heat wave? Since the temperatures have been so low even the shining sun hasn't been able to melt all that ice. The estimated about 2-3 inches of ice on the streets. None the less we have been home since Monday afternoon. Stir Crazy? But last night we got snow!! Lots of snow. There is about 8-9 inches of snow in our yard. So Landon and I decided to take advantage of it and go outside to play a bit. I took a few pictures and then I put the camera down and played with my son! Snow ball fight!!!
