The other day Landon and I made popcorn. Now, not the Put-the-bag-in-the-microwave type of popcorn. NO! I pulled out the air popper!! I realized he had never seen the air popper actually do it's thing before. Too bad it only takes about 2 minutes to make a HUGE bowl of popcorn; he could have stared at that thing for hours. Why air popped popcorn? He needs the fiber!! And I don't need the butter and fat in microwave popcorn. Plain popcorn really is good once you get over the fact that the 1 ton of butter and 1/2 cup of salt they use in the theaters "hides the true flavor!" I soon learned that popcorn is not the snack of choice for someone who had their wisdom teeth pulled 5 days before!! I guess there is a reason they tell you after your surgery that you shouldn't eat nuts, chips, and POPCORN!!
These past few afternoons Landon and I have played outside after school up until we HAD to come inside and eat dinner. The weather has been wonderful and is going to change soon (tomorrow I think). You might remember that we had SNOW in March last year!

we've been loving making popcorn on the stove with coconut oil (which is uber good for you!) It is oh-so-yummy. I won't go back to the microwave kind. It's that good.
