Or is there some other reason the dish wand
I love my dish wand when I only need to wash one or two dishes by hand and don't want to waste water by filling up the sink. I usually have one pan that has to be washed by hand every morning - it's perfect for this task. I also use it to wash/scrub my sink several times a day. I love the scrubber on the end that gets that "stuck on stuff" off the side of my sink when my wonderful, loving, very thoughtful husband forgets to rinse the sink out when he rinses a dish (at least he rinses a dish!! - can I get an AMEN!!). But I hate the pool of green goo that is left on the landing of the sink. The only way it won't leak is to store it standing upright in the corner of the sink; and that just frustrates me every time, EVERY TIME, I try to do anything in the sink because it falls over.
I hate dish rags, they gross me out. I go through about two a day from just wiping down the counters in my kitchen, once they are wet and cold, I can't stand to touch them anymore!
So, I'm curious - from the 2 people who actually read this blog (ok the 6 people who read this blog), what do you use? Do you have an amazing tool that makes washing dishes by hand a pleasure? I'm sure Julie or Sandra have something - can you help a sister out here?
Sincerely,
Frustrated Dishwasher from Texas
Potty Update:
Landon had his first accident free (well, pee-pee anyways) day!! He had one poo-poo accident, but I can't blame him for that - I would have a hard time too if I was taking double Miralax doses and my parents were feeding me TONS of raisins, pears, apple juice, fibery foods, you name it!! So I can't complain about that (although that makes for a messy clean-up!). About 75% of his potties today were self-initiated, meaning no one asked him (or made him) go. And all of them this afternoon!! Including the one when we were in the car buckled in and ready to leave for the Starbucks. Tomorrow we have some errands to run in the afternoon to get ready for a painting task on Saturday morning, so we will see how well we do "on the road" for the first time. Any suggestions for that one?

Shelley, I use a regular dish scrubber and just squirt out the soap that I need on the item I am washing. I throw it in the dishwasher to keep it clean. It works great and does not leak soap.
Oh, where did you create the cute cartoon header? It is similar to your friends. I love it. Need to know where to go to make something like this.
love the new header!
and I just use a sponge and squirt soap onto it...and plop the sponge in the dishwasher 2-3 times/wk (w/o soap! on the sponge).
I don't have a solution but I totally agree with you. I loved having one but I was filling it up all the time. So I gave it up. I generally have more than one or two dishes to do by hand these days so I fill the sink. :)
