A Little Action Around Here

This evening as Shannon was headed home he saw a HUGE house fire across the street from our neighborhood. Of course almost the entire neighborhood had to go take a look - incuding us. We didn't get there while the flames were sky high, we were a bit later. When we go there the firemen had it under control, but there was still lots of flames and even more smoke. Landon liked seeing the fire trucks with their lights on. There were 4 ladder trucks with their ladders out - it was a pretty amazing sight. Just so you know the house that burned was a model home. No one actually lived in it. Here is a picture I took with my point and shoot. Seeing this really makes we want to do the citizens fire academy this fall and become a photographer for the FFD - to be right in the middle of it all.
