Christmas Afternoon

Everyone (except me of course) is taking a nap - including the dog! I wanted to upload my pictures from my camera that I took last night and this morning before we went to my brother's house this afternoon.

I know there is only a handful (if that many) of people who read this blog, but I had to post some of these pictures to help explain the madness of last night.

See what I mean - have you ever, in your life seen so many presents? And I have to say that this year was "light" compared to some years in the past. Plus, the big presents haven't even been brought to the living room yet!! I spot-counted them this morning, between what we received last night and what we received this morning we had a total of over 70 gifts. Where am I going to put all this stuff?

Well, we do have a great time on Christmas Eve, I really love my family. I'm glad we live close enough to go visit for the day. Landon enjoyed playing with GaGa's slot machine (which is right next to the video game and video poker machine). He got Triple 7's - that is one of the highest things you can get. The rule is, when anyone gets 7's they get their picture taken. All Landon wanted to do was put more quarters in the machine and let it make the fun sounds again. I barely got a photo taken before the 7's were gone.

This morning was much more tame. Last night Shannon put together the kitchen that Landon got from GaGa and Grandaddy so he could play with it this morning. He has really enjoyed it. We put out all the Santa gifts, Stocking stuffers, and gifts from Shannon's family.
